The 24th World Scout Jamboree is currently underway in West Virginia, USA. Over 40,000 scouts from across the world arrived at the site on 22 July looking forward to 12 days of activities, events and adventures.
A group of around 54 scouts from across Norfolk and Suffolk, some of which had received funding from the Trust, are part of the 5,000 strong UK contingent attending. Chief Scout Bear Grylls opened the event by abseiling onto the main stage.
The jamborees are held every four years with this year's event being hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
